New Delhi, 04 March (H.S.): Renowned journalist, former Rajya Sabha MP, and Padma Bhushan recipient Hari Krishna Dua died this afternoon at a private hospital in New Delhi following a prolonged illness.Dua, who served as India's Ambassador to Denmark from 2001 to 2003 and High Commissioner to Kenya, held prestigious editorial roles including Editor of Hindustan Times (1987-1994), Editor-in-Chief of The Indian Express (1994-1996), and Editor of The Tribune (2003-2009).

He also advised former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and HD Deve Gowda as their media consultant and represented the Rajya Sabha as a nominated member from 2009 to 2015.His cremation is scheduled for March 5 at noon at Lodhi Road crematorium. Dua received the Padma Bhushan in 2008 for his outstanding contributions to journalism.
