Tehran, 29 March (H.S.):

Iran threatened attacks on Israeli and American universities across the Middle East Saturday, as Yemen's Houthi rebels unleashed a fresh barrage of missiles and drones on Israel in Tehran's support. Officials in Tehran accused Israel and the US of relentless assaults on the country, vowing revenge for strikes in Bushehr and Khuzestan provinces no matter the cost.

Al Jazeera reported that a US-Israeli attack in Bushehr killed four members of one family, while both nations hit a water facility in Khuzestan. Tehran responded with its university strike threat and saw Houthis launch their second assault on Israel. Protests swelled in Tel Aviv and US cities against war with Iran, as Beirut streets filled with Lebanese demonstrators mourning three journalists killed in an Israeli strike. Iran's counterattacks have already inflicted casualties and damage in Israel and the Gulf, with Aluminium Bahrain and Emirates Global Aluminium confirming hits on their facilities.

Press TV stated Saturday's operation by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iranian army, and Tehran's regional allies targeted an Israeli radar center and airport. Iran claimed IRGC downed a US MQ-9 drone and struck an F-16 fighter jet. Iranian forces hit an electronic warfare and radar center—run by an Israeli defense tech firm—in a military aerospace complex at Haifa port, alongside a fuel storage depot at David Ben-Gurion Airport.
