Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi declared Saturday that Kabul stands ready to settle all disputes with Pakistan through dialogue and mutual understanding, during a phone call with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The discussion covered bilateral ties, Afghanistan-US matters, regional dynamics, and recent Kabul-Islamabad flare-ups that erupted February 26 when Taliban forces allegedly targeted Pakistani border posts, prompting Islamabad's Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq with air and ground strikes. Muttaqi thanked the UAE for mediating a US detainee's release and reaffirmed Kabul's commitment to diplomatic resolutions, pledging Afghan soil won't host anti-Pakistan activities—serious steps already taken.

He slammed US-Israel-linked conflicts against Iran as a grave threat to regional stability, praising UAE patience. Bin Zayed echoed that escalating Afghanistan-Pakistan strains serve no one's interests, vowing Abu Dhabi's continued mediation efforts.
