Domestic bullion trading saw gold prices climb sharply on Saturday while silver tumbled amid mixed global cues. Spot gold hit $4416 per ounce internationally as silver slipped to $68.12 per ounce.

In India 24-carat gold rose 170 to 180 rupees per 10 grams trading between 144720 and 14870 rupees across major markets. 22-carat gold hovered from 132660 to 132810 rupees per 10 grams with silver crashing 10000 rupees per kilogram to 239900 rupees in Delhi.

Saturday's Delhi rates stood at 144870 rupees for 24-carat and 132810 for 22-carat per 10 grams. Mumbai saw 144720 for 24-carat and 132660 for 22-carat while Ahmedabad hit 144770 and 132710 respectively.

Chennai Kolkata Bengaluru Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar all pegged 24-carat at 144720 rupees with 22-carat at 132660 rupees per 10 grams. Bhopal quoted 144770 for 24-carat and 132710 for 22-carat while Lucknow Patna and Jaipur matched Delhi's 144870 and 132810 levels.

Karnataka Telangana and Odisha markets echoed the gold rally with uniform pricing across their capitals underscoring broad strength in the yellow metal despite silver's steep decline.
