
Kolkata, 26 March (H.S.): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday paid tribute to legendary musician and global ambassador of Indian cultural heritage Ananda Shankar on his death anniversary.
In a post on X, Banerjee said she remembers the renowned musician on the occasion, noting his significant contribution in taking Indian music to the global stage.
She described Ananda Shankar as an important representative of India’s cultural heritage and said that his music continues to inspire people even today.
