
New Delhi, 26 March (H.S.): Domestic bullion markets showed strength today with gold and silver prices climbing in early trading on Thursday. Gold gained between 3,470 and 3,780 rupees per 10 grams, while silver marked a symbolic rise of 100 rupees per kilogram.
The upswing pushed 24-carat gold to trade from 1,46,680 to 1,46,830 rupees per 10 grams across most Indian markets. 22-carat gold moved in a tight band of 1,34,460 to 1,34,610 rupees per 10 grams. In Delhi's bullion hub, silver shone at 2,50,100 rupees per kilogram.
Delhi led with 24-carat at 1,46,830 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,610 rupees per 10 grams. Mumbai quoted 24-carat at 1,46,680 rupees alongside 22-carat at 1,34,460 rupees. Ahmedabad saw 24-carat at 1,46,730 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,510 rupees.
Beyond these hubs, Chennai listed 24-carat gold at 1,46,680 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,460 rupees per 10 grams. Kolkata matched those levels exactly. Bhopal had 24-carat at 1,46,730 rupees with 22-carat at 1,34,510 rupees.
Lucknow's markets echoed Delhi with 24-carat at 1,46,830 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,610 rupees. Patna recorded 24-carat at 1,46,730 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,510 rupees. Jaipur aligned with top rates of 1,46,830 rupees for 24-carat and 1,34,610 rupees for 22-carat.
The bullish trend extended to other states too. Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha saw steady gains, with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar all pegging 24-carat gold at 1,46,680 rupees and 22-carat at 1,34,460 rupees per 10 grams on March 26.
