Tata Group flagship Air India's A350 jet faced another technical snag forcing flight AI-111 bound for London's Heathrow Airport to turn back midair as a precaution on Thursday. All passengers landed safely back in Delhi.

Official sources confirmed the trouble cropped up roughly seven hours into the journey. Crew opted to return rather than risk further issues prioritizing passenger safety above all.

The aircraft touched down securely at Delhi with a full technical inspection now underway following strict safety protocols. This marks yet another hiccup for Air India's A350 fleet drawing fresh scrutiny.
