New Delhi, 26 March (H.S.):

Tata‑led Air India and Air India Express will together operate a total of 32 scheduled and non‑scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region on Thursday, March 26, against the backdrop of the ongoing West Asia crisis. The information was shared by the airline in an update posted on the social media platform X.

The company said that Air India and Air India Express will jointly run 32 departing and arriving flights between India and West Asia today. Both carriers will continue their regular scheduled services to and from Jeddah, making a combined 10 flights between India and the Saudi Arabian city. Of these, Air India will operate one return flight from Delhi and two return flights from Mumbai, while Air India Express will run one flight each from Kozhikode and Mangalore.

Air India Express will also operate four scheduled flights between Muscat and India, with services to and from Delhi and Mumbai. In addition, the low‑cost carrier will run two scheduled flights from Kozhikode to Riyadh. Air India for its part will operate four scheduled flights between Riyadh and India, again connecting Delhi and Mumbai.

Besides the scheduled flights, the airline group will also run 12 additional non‑scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates on Thursday. These extra services will depend on slot availability at the departure airports and prevailing operational conditions. All such flights are being operated after securing the necessary approvals from the relevant Indian and local regulatory authorities.

In a statement, the company advised passengers to check the latest flight status on the Air India or Air India Express website or mobile app, as services remain subject to changing operating conditions owing to the regional situation.
