23 March (HS): On the sixth day of Chaitra Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath honored Goddess Katyayani, the sixth form of Goddess

Durga, and prayed for happiness, peace, prosperity, and health for the whole

state. He depicted Goddess Katyayani as a force capable of annihilating fear,

sickness, and grief, and prayed for her believers' courage and triumph. CM Yogi

paid tribute to Maa Katyayani on social media, writing that with the blessings

of mother, everyone's life should be filled with pleasure, wealth, and

achievement. He recalled Mother as 'Danvaghatini' (the destroyer of

unrighteousness) and stated that by Mother's grace, harmony and peace will be

built in society. He described Maa Katyayani as a symbol of fortitude and power

and congratulated the state's people on Navratri.

He penned in

a post on X, “Chandrahasojjwalkara shardulvarvahana. Katyayani Shubham

Dadyadevi Danvaghatini. Jagajjanani, the sixth form of Maa Durga, Maa Katyayani

is the destroyer of fears, diseases and sorrows of the devotees. By the grace

of Mother Bhagwati, there should be welfare of the entire world, peace,

strength and harmony should reside in every heart, this is my prayer. Jai Maa

Katyayani!”
