Mathura, 24
March (HS): Mohan
Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), visited Vrindavan
on Tuesday to launch the newly built Jeevan Deep Ashram. Bhagwat opened the
24-room Jeevan Deep Ashram in Vrindavan's Rukmini Vihar region, which was
founded by Mahamandaleshwar Yatindranand Giri, a former RSS pracharak.
Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday said of the ongoing war
between the United States, Israel, and Iran, that it is fueled by arrogance,
revenge, and a sense of self-righteousness. Those fighting are shooting
themselves in the foot. He said, The world knows that war causes harm.
Now they are regretting it. A new path will be found in India. Materialism alone
will not suffice. Spirituality will have to be taken along.
The
war is being waged with selfish motives, and people are making axe fall on
their own leg: The RSS chief also called for protection against infiltrators in
the country. He said it won't take long for us to identify them. Foreign
nationals living illegally should be identified and investigated by the
authorities, and such individuals should not be employed in our country. This
will prevent the rights of citizens from being violated.
There
is no aggression in our culture: RSS chief said that there is no aggression in
our culture, whereas there is aggression in the world's culture.
The
country's fifth ashram: This is the Mahamandaleshwar's fifth ashram in the
country. Vrindavan, the land of Lord Krishna's play, houses ashrams of various
sects and Akharas from across the country. The foundation stone of the
Jeevandeep Ashram, owned by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand Giri of the
Juna Akhara, was laid two years ago by Bhaiyaji Joshi, the then Sarkaryavah of
the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh .
24
rooms in the Ashram: Apart from Mahamandaleshwar Yatindranand Giri's Jeevandeep
Ashram in Vrindavan, Jeevandeep Ashrams are also being run in Haridwar,
Roorkee, Lucknow, Hardoi. Through Jeevandeep Seva Nyas and Jeevandeep Academy
Gurukul, he is running works of spiritual education and social welfare. Apart
from the Lord Shri Radhakrishna temple, 24 rooms have been built in the Ashram.
Before taking initiation, Mahamandaleshwar was a pracharak of Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh for 14 years.
Prominent
spiritual and political personalities attended the event, including Madhya
Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh
Pathak, and former governors Arif Mohammad Khan and Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
Security
Measures: District officials established a specific traffic diversion plan in
Mathura and Vrindavan to manage VVIP mobility, in addition to stringent
security precautions.

and meditation.
