'Shaheed Diwas', Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid respect to

freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru, stating

that their sacrifice is a glorious chapter in Indian history. On Shaheed Diwas

(Martyrdom Day), he paid tribute to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru in

recognition of their tremendous sacrifice in 1931. He referred to the trio's

courage as a shining chapter in India's liberation movement, highlighting their

sacrifice in the Lahore conspiracy case. Yogi Adityanath claimed that the

revolutionaries' bravery and patriotism will inspire the nation for ages,

cultivating a Nation First mentality. Adityanath praised the

sacrifice of the three independence warriors as a defining moment in Indian

history.

In

a post on X, he stated, “The sacrifice of the immortal martyrs Bhagat Singh,

Sukhdev, and Rajguru, who lit the flame of revolution, is a golden chapter in

India's history. Their courage, dedication, and patriotism will continue to

inspire us for centuries to come. Today, on Martyrdom Day, we pay our humble

tribute to these brave martyrs.”
