Tehran/Doha, 22 March (H.S.):

Israel unleashed a fresh missile barrage on Tehran Sunday morning, hours after Iran struck two southern Israeli towns. Separately a Qatari military helicopter crashed into the sea due to technical failure.

CBS News reported the Israel Defense Forces announcing early Sunday (local time) they had just launched a new wave of strikes targeting Iran's terror regime infrastructure in Tehran.

Qatar officials said the chopper went down in the Persian Gulf from a technical glitch during routine duty.

The Defense Ministry posted on social media it crashed near the coast with search and rescue teams now scouring the area. They didnt say how many were aboard.

Meanwhile Irans Fars News Agency quoted the military directly challenging President Donald Trump. Tehran warned if America hits their nuclear power plants theyll target Middle East energy and water infrastructure in response. This came right after Trumps threat to obliterate Irans plants unless the Strait of Hormuz reopens within 48 hours.
