Tel Aviv, 22 March (H.S.):
Iran launched fresh missile strikes on Israel today, wounding at least 90 people as Israeli defenses failed to intercept the barrage targeting key southern sites.
Israeli officials confirmed attacks at two locations in southern Israel, with the primary nuclear research center in Dimona bearing the brunt.
According to reports Mizan stated the strikes avenged recent attacks on Natanz, Iran's main nuclear enrichment facility. Mizan added no radiation leaks were detected at the Dimona center, located about 135 miles south of Tehran.
Israel's emergency rescue service Magen David Adom reported 59 injuries from a Sunday morning strike on the southern city of Arad, six in serious condition among those rushed to local hospitals. Rescue teams are still searching rubble for trapped survivors. Dimona strikes left another 31 wounded. Both cities sit close to Israel's primary nuclear research hub.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation Sunday morning, vowing the military won't retreat from Middle East conflicts. This is a very tough time for our country's future, he said after speaking with Arad's mayor. In a social media post, Netanyahu wrote: We remain resolute in striking our enemies on all fronts.
