Tehran, 21 March (H.S.):
Iran issued a stark warning to the United Arab Emirates Saturday stating it will obliterate Ras al-Khaimah city if UAE territory launches strikes on Iranian islands Abu Musa and Greater Tunb. Tehran vowed to target any launch point against its sovereignty previously announced and demonstrated in practice.
Palestine Chronicle quoted Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesman Lt Col Ibrahim Zolfaghari who declared We will strike Ras al-Khaimah if UAE repeats aggression against Abu Musa and Greater Tunb islands.
Zolfaghari urged UAE civilians to avoid ports docks and US sites ahead of potential reprisals with IRGC reportedly issuing evacuation maps for Ras al-Khaimah residents.
The threat emerges amid regional escalation where Iran accuses UAE of facilitating attacks during US-Israel clashes. Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Committee head Ebrahim Aziz said adversaries wallow in desperation unable to assure victory resorting to disinformation.
Azizi dismissed claims of weakened resistance axis post Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallahs death noting enhanced military capabilities across Lebanon and beyond.
He urged regional governments not to permit anti-Iran use of territory demanding US forces withdrawal as the path to crisis resolution while asserting Hormuz Strait realities remain unchangeable despite US reinforcements. Iran stands at peak military readiness for decisive counteraction.
