New Delhi, 21 March (H.S.):

The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced Saturday that T20 World Cup-winning Indian team will tour Ireland in June for a two-match T20I series marking their first white-ball assignment since lifting the trophy.

India clinched the title beating New Zealand by 96 runs in Ahmedabad on March 8.

The Men in Blue have visited Ireland three times in the past eight years (2018 2022 2023) but this will be their first trip to Belfast since 2007.

Ireland faces a packed 2026 schedule including a one-off Test against New Zealand and five ODIs versus Afghanistan.
