Tehran, 21 March (H.S.):

Iran targeted the joint US-UK military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean with two medium-range ballistic missiles Friday that failed to penetrate defenses causing no damage according to reports.

Iran International citing Wall Street Journal said one missile malfunctioned mid-flight while US SM-3 systems intercepted the second neither striking the facility roughly 3795 to 4118 km from Iran exceeding known Iranian missile ranges.
