Jerusalem, 20 March (H.S.): On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted during a press conference that the war against Iran could conclude a lot faster than people think, projecting confidence in Israel's strategic upper hand.

Netanyahu highlighted emerging fissures within Iran's leadership, questioning who truly governs amid the absence of potential successor Ayatollah Mojtaba and intensifying power struggles at the top, which Israel seeks to exacerbate alongside frontline disruptions.

He declared, We are winning and Iran is being decimated, pointing to Tehran's crippled uranium enrichment and ballistic missile production as evidence of battlefield successes.

Dismissing notions that Israel drew the United States into the fray, Netanyahu affirmed unilateral action in striking Iran's Asaluyeh gas compound—triggering Tehran's retaliation on Qatar—while complying with U.S. President Donald Trump's directive to pause similar operations.

He derided Iranian threats to seal the Strait of Hormuz as doomed blackmail by a death cult, vowing it would fail to coerce the international community.
