Guwahati, 20 March (HS): The ASMITA Swimming League 2025 (East Zone), aimed at promoting women’s participation in swimming, will be held in Guwahati on March 21 and 22 under the initiative of Sports Authority of India and Khelo India.

The competition will take place at Dr. Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex, Sarusajai, with participation expected from women swimmers representing eight northeastern states. Events will be conducted from 9 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 6 pm.

Organisers said the league will provide a significant platform for emerging women swimmers and help prepare them for national and international competitions under the ASMITA programme.-----------
