Lucknow, 18
March (HS): To mark the completion of nine years under the leadership of Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a program titled Nine Years of
Reconstruction was organized at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday. In his address,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that whatever changes have occurred in
these nine years have been possible only under the guidance of Prime Minister
Modi. This is the result of the cooperation of Bharatiya Janata Party workers and
the public.
Programs
will be held across the state for the next nine days. On this occasion, a
booklet full of achievements titled Nine Years of Boat Building was
released. The Chief Minister said that previously, as soon as a job
advertisement was published in the state, all the people from the Mahabharata
would come out with bags to collect money. Work done with an eye on
infrastructure, jobs, employment, women, the welfare of Dalits, the deprived,
and the poor has given Uttar Pradesh its identity again. Programs will be
organized on various themes over the next nine days. We will also reflect on
our vision for the future. We will reflect on the work done in the last nine
years and then reach out to the public. These programs will be held over these
nine days. He appealed for further discussions among youth, workers, the poor,
and women. Tomorrow is a festival. We are happy. There is no fear. Improved
security has brought about a major change. Today, people are visiting temples
on New Year's Day and festivals.
Chief Minister
Yogi said that during his first government, 30,000 police personnel were to be
recruited. For training, we only had a training center with a capacity of
3,000. We spoke with the central government, but recruitment was unable to take
place. The case was being hampered by the court proceedings. We urged that
recruitment be completed with respect for the court. 30,000 youth were given
jobs. PAC battalions have been formed in the names of three brave women. Each
district has a cyber police station and a help desk.
CM Yogi
said that before 2017, it was not known whether there was a pothole in the road
or the road was in the pothole. Today, the connectivity of the state has
improved. Villages, tehsils, districts and state headquarters have been
connected. The country's first ropeway is being built in Kashi. Today, there
are 16 domestic airports and four international airports in UP. Uttar Pradesh
has become an infrastructure state. Earlier, no investor used to come. From
1947 to 2017, there were only 14 thousand industries. Today, there are more
than 31 thousand industries. More than 65 lakh people are working in these. 96
lakh MSME units functioning in UP.
Previous
Chief Ministers didn't visit Noida. They were afraid of losing their positions.
As soon as I became Chief Minister, I went to Noida. I said, Whether I
keep my position or lose it, I will definitely go to Noida. Today,
factories are established in Noida. Mobile phones are being manufactured there.
Today, groundbreakings worth Rs. 15 lakh crore have been done in Uttar Pradesh. The
agricultural growth rate has increased from 8.5 to 18 percent. Farmers have
been paid Rs.
316,895 crore for sugarcane. Underweighting has stopped. Farmers are no longer
being cheated. Daughters are being given jobs. We don't discriminate based on
caste, creed, or region. Schemes have been implemented for everyone. More than
16 million children study in Basic Education Council schools. Like convent
schools, they are provided with uniforms, shoes, and school bags. Toilets and
drinking water have been provided. For the first time, a scholarship scheme has
been implemented for children studying Sanskrit. Breaking free from the
One District Mafia, the ODOP and One District One
Medical College schemes have been implemented.
Union
Minister of State for Finance and UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary said that
nine years ago, the people of UP removed the people of Meva and gave power to
those who served. They removed the people of riots and put the people of Ganga
on the chair. Even today they (opposition) have not been able to understand.
Today, in nine years, the BJP's Yogi government has transformed the entire
state. When a disease would enter a poor person's house, that poor person would
become even poorer. The government worked under the leadership of Chief
Minister Yogi and came to power in 2022. Due to the work done in these five
years, the BJP government will once again be formed in Uttar Pradesh in 2027.
Deputy
Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya congratulated the people of the state on
the completion of nine years of good governance. Today is a very important day
for the state. I remember 2016-17 when we started a decisive fight against the
then SP government. Akhilesh Yadav, who was the Chief Minister from 2012 to 2017,
had ruined the state by the time he left office. Akhilesh Yadav deceived
everyone. Entrepreneurs used to shy away from investing in the state. Today
there is a competition for investment. Today we are saying with full confidence
that in 2027, the BJP will form the government with a bigger victory than in
2017. A barrier was put in place to stop the schemes coming from the Centre for
the development of the state. Therefore, Akhilesh Yadav should stop dreaming
like Mungeri Lal.
Deputy
Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that nine years ago, upon entering the state
and seeing broken roads, people used to say that they have reached Uttar
Pradesh. Electricity was available only in a few districts. In the rest of the
state, there was electricity for one week at night and one week during the day.
Law and order was bad. It was said that UP was a state of goons. The number of
medical colleges has increased more than three times. Vehicles do not hesitate
on the roads from east to west in the state. Today, daughters can go out even
at night. Earlier, daughters were called home after five o'clock. Today,
everything has changed in the state.
On this
occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, State
President of Bharatiya Janata Party Pankaj Chaudhary, State General Secretary
Organization Dharampal Singh, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Finance
and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Minister Sanjay Nishad,
Minister Anil Kumar, Minister Baby Rani Maurya, Minister Ashish Patel and Minister
Om Prakash Rajbhar along with Chief Secretary SP Goel, Additional Chief
Secretary Sanjay Prasad were present.
