Washington, 15 March (H.S.): The Pentagon has identified all six U.S. service members who perished in a refueling aircraft crash in western Iraq during operations against Iran, the U.S. Defense Department headquarters announced Thursday. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.Citing Pentagon officials, CBS News reported the identities of the fallen airmen as follows: (1) Major John A. Cliner, 33, of Auburn, Alabama; (2) Captain Ariana G. Savino, 31, of Covington, Washington; (3) Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt, 34, of Bardstown, Kentucky; (4) Captain Seth R. Kowal, 38, of Mooresville, Indiana; (5) Captain Curtis J. Angst, 30, of Wilmington, Ohio; and (6) Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, 28, of Columbus, Ohio.

According to the Pentagon, Cliner, Savino, and Pruitt were assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, while Kowal, Angst, and Simmons served with the 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio.
