Tehran, 15 March (H.S.): Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has appealed to Gulf and Middle Eastern countries to reconsider the presence of American troops in their territories. He argued that foreign military deployments are exacerbating tensions in the current volatile environment.

Araghchi highlighted the ongoing cycle of retaliatory strikes and military activities across the region, which have rendered the situation increasingly unstable. According to him, the involvement of external powers not only fails to foster peace but also deepens the crisis.

The Iranian minister further contended that the United States has long claimed to provide security guarantees to Gulf states, yet this framework has proven woefully inadequate under present circumstances. He accused U.S. security policies of failing to deliver genuine stability to the area.

Araghchi also asserted that America is now seeking assistance from other nations, particularly China, to safeguard vital maritime routes like the Strait of Hormuz. This development, he said, underscores emerging challenges within the regional security architecture.

In a direct call to its neighbors, Iran urged serious deliberations on removing foreign military forces to pave the way for lasting stability and peace in the region.
