Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will represent India at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to 5, showcasing the nation's telecom manufacturing capabilities and innovation ecosystem on the global stage.
Upon arrival, Scindia will inaugurate the India Pavilion, unveiling the India Mobile Congress (IMC) curtain raiser. He is scheduled to address the GSMA Ministerial Programme's Built for What's Next session, discussing future digital infrastructure and emerging technology frameworks, followed by a keynote closing remarks on Breaking the Cost Barrier—emphasizing affordable, inclusive, and scalable digital connectivity models.
The minister's itinerary includes a dinner with global CEOs, visits to stalls of international and Indian firms, and tech exhibitions. He will launch Tejas Networks' T31600-D3 hyperscalable DCI platform at their booth. High-level bilateral meetings with telecom stakeholders will explore collaborations for universal connectivity and robust infrastructure.
