Hyderabad, 28 February (H.S.): The Hyderabad Cricket Association will conduct elections for the posts of secretary and treasurer on March 12, according to a notification issued by Electoral Officer V.S. Sampath on Saturday.

In a press release, the association stated that the list of eligible full members entitled to vote and contest in the elections has been displayed on the notice board at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The list was furnished by the Chief Executive Officer with the approval of the Administrator appointed by the Telangana High Court and includes the names of representatives who attended the last Annual General Meeting held on July 19, 2025.

As per the rules, candidates must not be members of any of the 57 clubs that were barred from contesting elections by a single-member committee on July 31, 2023.

The association informed that any changes in candidature must be submitted on March 3 and March 4, 2026, between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm to the person in charge of the inward section at the ground floor of the stadium in Uppal, with due acknowledgement. Applications received after 5.00 pm on March 4 will be considered invalid.
