Tehran, 28 February (H.S.): The Indian Embassy in Iran on Saturday advised Indian nationals to exercise utmost caution and remain indoors as far as possible in view of the developing security situation following joint US-Israel strikes.

In its advisory, the embassy urged Indian citizens in Iran to avoid unnecessary movement and strictly adhere to safety precautions amid prevailing regional tensions.

The mission further advised Indian nationals to closely monitor news updates, maintain situational awareness and await further guidance from the Embassy of India as developments continue to unfold.

The advisory was issued as tensions escalated in the region, prompting precautionary measures to ensure the safety and security of the Indian community in Iran.
