BJP Youth Wing Slams Congress Silence on Sabarimala Gold Theft

New Delhi, 27 February (H.S.):

BJP Kerala Yuva Morcha activists staged a vigorous protest Friday outside senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's residence, decrying the party's alleged reticence on the purported gold pilferage from Kerala's iconic Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa Temple.

Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur led the demonstration, joined by BJP Yuva Morcha national general secretary Rohit Chahal and Kerala Yuva Morcha state president Manu Prasad, demanding a high-level, impartial CBI probe with public disclosure.

Thakur asserted temple assets symbolize crores of devotees' faith and cultural legacy—any gold irregularity constitutes betrayal. He accused Congress of evading clarity on this grave issue.Protesters reiterated calls for swift, stringent action against culprits and robust oversight mechanisms safeguarding shrine properties.

Manu Prasad framed the agitation as democratic advocacy for faith, transparency, and good governance—not targeting individuals.Warning nationwide awareness campaigns absent thorough investigation, the rally concluded peacefully amid tight security.
