New Delhi, 27 February (H.S.):
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dismissed the Rouse Avenue Court's clearance of Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal in the CBI excise policy graft case as a mere technical acquittal due to evidentiary deficits.
National spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi stated Thursday at party headquarters that hundreds of mobile phones and SIM cards were destroyed in this technical tangle.
MP Manoj Tiwari reiterated Kejriwal escaped solely for lack of surviving evidence—Delhiites know 173 mobiles were obliterated to erase trails, a tactic BJP leaders repeatedly flagged.
AAP's corruption stands exposed, Tiwari asserted; voters ousted them via ballots. Can't hoodwink law indefinitely by tampering evidence—CBI heads to High Court, looters will face justice. He questioned scrapping the clean policy if no graft occurred, noting Supreme Court's prior bar on Kejriwal signing files as CM—Delhi discerns his true character.
