Guwahati, 27 February (HS): The Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Friday launched a digital campaign titled “Modir Dost” with the aim of promoting the works and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi among all sections of society. The campaign seeks to amplify the Prime Minister’s initiatives through social media outreach, highlighting his leadership which is regarded among the most popular globally and widely followed on digital platforms.

The campaign was formally inaugurated by Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia at the party’s state headquarters, Vajpayee Bhawan, in Guwahati. Thousands of youths associated with various digital platforms attended the launch programme. National election in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj and Union Minister Darshana Jardosh were also present on the occasion.

Under the leadership of BJYM Assam president Rakesh Das, the “Modir Dost” initiative aims to cover all regions of the state. Through the programme, lakhs of digitally connected youths are expected to actively promote the developmental works undertaken by the Central and State governments on social media platforms, with the objective of informing and engaging the public. The inaugural session was conducted by state BJYM president Das.-----------
