
New Delhi, 26 February (H.S.): The India Under-20 women's football team was held to a 1–1 draw by Swedish club Enskede IK Dam in a friendly match at the Bosön National Sports Centre in Lidingö, Sweden, on Wednesday night.
Sibani Devi Nongmeikapam put India ahead in the 44th minute, but Enskede struck an equaliser in the 88th minute to deny the visitors a second straight win on tour.
Head coach Joakim Alexandersson made eight changes to the starting XI from the side that defeated Täby FK 4–0 in their previous outing, following an earlier 0–6 loss to Hammarby IF.
The Young Tigresses will next face Swedish club Karlbergs BK on February 28 in another warm-up fixture as part of their preparations for the AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup in Thailand later this year.
