Islamabad, 26 February (H.S.): Pakistan's military unleashed a ferocious offensive across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, annihilating 34 terrorists in intelligence-fueled blitzes targeting the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)—branded Fitna Al Khwarij—and Baloch insurgents dubbed Fitna Al Hindustan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) detailed a quartet of engagements on February 24: In North Waziristan, border sentinels repelled an Afghan infiltrator amid Pak-Afghan frontier clashes. Lakki Marwat's intense shootout felled three militants, while Bannu's Narmi Khel and Mir Ali in North Waziristan saw 10 and 12 TTP operatives liquidated, respectively.

In Zhob's Sambaza, eight Baloch militants met their end in a fierce firefight, with arms caches seized from the Indian-sponsored foes.President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the forces' professionalism, aligning the haul with Azm-i-Istehkam doctrine to eradicate externally backed threats. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed the acclaim, vowing relentless eradication of terror networks amid daily triumphs.

This surge follows earlier eliminations of nine militants, including a suicide bomber, underscoring Islamabad's ironclad resolve to safeguard frontiers and civilians through sustained sanitization sweeps.
