
New Delhi, 24 February (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu embarks today on a significant four-day visit to Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan until February 27, engaging in health initiatives, spiritual ceremonies, and military demonstrations.
President Murmu will inaugurate PD Hinduja Hospital's nationwide campaign 'Saving Lives and Building a Healthier Bharat' at Mumbai's Lok Bhavan today. This initiative aims to foster health awareness and enhance medical facilities across India.
On February 25, she graces the 'National Arogya Fair 2026' in Shegaon, Buldhana district, as chief guest. Later, in Nagpur, she attends the state-level launch of Brahma Kumaris' program 'Golden Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust'.
February 26 takes her to Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, for the bhoomi pujan of Shri Jagannath Temple by the Shri Jagannath Spiritual & Cultural Charitable Centre Trust. She will also visit Manipal Tata Medical College to interact with students.
Concluding on February 27, President Murmu witnesses 'Exercise Vayushakti' at Pokhran, Rajasthan, highlighting the Indian Air Force's strike capabilities and operational prowess.
