New Delhi, 24 February (H.S.): The 'New Delhi Declaration' unveiled at last week's AI Summit has garnered endorsements from 91 countries and international organizations, cementing India's vision for equitable, collaborative 'AI for All'.

India's Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) reports 88 initial signatories by February 21—including powerhouses like the US, UK, Russia, China, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and UAE—plus the EU and IFAD. Bangladesh, Costa Rica, and Guatemala freshly joined, swelling support to 91.

Anchored in seven 'Chakras', the framework champions democratic AI diffusion, global impact platforms, trusted systems repositories, scientific networks, social empowerment access, workforce playbooks, and resilient AI principles. It pledges affordable foundational resources for developing nations' contextual innovation in health, education, and agriculture.
