New Delhi, 24 February (H.S.): The Union Cabinet approved expansion of Srinagar International Airport's civil enclave Tuesday at ₹1,677 crore, boosting capacity to serve 2,900 peak-hour passengers and 10 million annually.

73-Acre Green Marvel with Widebody Bay

Chaired by PM Narendra Modi at Seva Teerth, the project spans 73.18 acres with a 71,500 sqm terminal (leveraging 20,659 sqm existing structure), 15 aircraft bays including one Code-E widebody, and 1,000-car multi-level parking—targeting 5-Star GRIHA rating for sustainable design.

Tourism Turbocharge for Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens
