New Delhi, 24 February (H.S.): BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia accused Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday of orchestrating a scheme to humiliate India during the AI Summit, now unraveling layer by layer.

At BJP headquarters, Bhatia highlighted Indian Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib's arrest amid protests at the India Pavilion, alleging Congress activists stripped to T-shirts in defiance while global eyes were on India. Rahul Gandhi plotted to disgrace and defame the nation, Bhatia charged, claiming Gandhi stands politically exposed.

Bhatia mocked Gandhi's Constitution-waving theatrics, asserting he never read Article 19(2), which permits reasonable curbs on expression for public order, decency, and morality. Such protests required Gandhi's backing, Bhatia said, questioning his democratic commitment and leadership accountability.

Citing Margaret Alva's critique of party conduct, Bhatia hailed the AI Summit as testament to India's visionary global leadership—praised post-2023 G20—while slamming Congress for rejecting national triumphs.
