Ratnagiri, 24 Feb (HS): An additional AC-3 (Economy)

class coach has been attached permanently to the Mumbai-Madgaon Konkan Kanya

Express and Mandvi Express. The decision has been taken given the increasing

response of travellers on the route.

According to a press release issued by the Konkan

Railway, the number of coaches have been increased from 22 to 23. Heavy crowd is experienced on the routes

during summer and festival seasons. With the addition of an economy category

AC-3 coach the travellers will be able to enjoy the cheap and air conditioned

comfortable ride.
