Kolkata, 20 February (H.S.): Dr. Sudipto Roy, MLA from Serampore and Chairman of the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board, posted on social media late Thursday night, announcing the completion of the state's healthcare recruitment process. He stated that the panel list of 7,423 selected candidates through a computer-based test (CBT) has been published, and the entire recruitment process was completed in just six months.

According to Dr. Roy, the posts for which panel lists have been released in the past few months include 1,132 General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) positions, 416 Assistant Professor positions, and 2,611 Staff Nurse Grade-2 (B.Sc.) positions. Additionally, a total of 3,264 candidates have been selected in GNM nursing, including 2,831 women and 433 men.

He further stated that the recruitment process for 350 pharmacist positions and 807 medical technologist positions will be completed by next Wednesday.

Dr. Sudipto Roy congratulated all the successful candidates and wished them a bright future. He expressed hope that the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the selected candidates will further strengthen West Bengal's healthcare system. He also noted that this progress has been made possible under the able leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
