Jammu, 08 November (H.S.): Heavy traffic congestion has become a serious concern in the main market area of Surankote, causing inconvenience to commuters, shopkeepers, pedestrians and the general public. Long queues of vehicles can be seen on the busy roads, particularly during peak hours, making movement difficult and leading to unnecessary delays.

The situation calls for immediate attention from the traffic authorities, as the increasing number of vehicles and traffic congestion are affecting the smooth movement of people and vehicles in the town.

Through this medium, an urgent appeal is being made to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Traffic, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu and DySP Traffic RP Range to kindly look into the matter and take necessary measures to ease traffic congestion in Surankote.

The concerned authorities are requested to deploy adequate traffic personnel at busy locations, ensure proper traffic regulation, take action against vehicles parked in no-parking zones and consider an effective traffic management plan for the town.

Residents hope that the senior authorities will take immediate cognisance of the issue and provide relief to the people of Surankote.
