Jaunpur,
Nov 07 (HS): Ramesh Chandra Mishra, BJP MLA from the Badlapur assembly
constituency in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, has urged Samajwadi Party President
Akhilesh Yadav to support the construction of a Lord Krishna temple in Mathura.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, he said that if Akhilesh Yadav speaks about
Sanatan Dharma and Dharma, he should also speak out for the construction of a
Krishna temple in Mathura.
The
MLA said that Akhilesh Yadav visited Kashi several times, but did not visit Kashi
Vishwanath Dham. He claimed that Akhilesh Yadav may not have even visited Lord
Krishna in Mathura or Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. He said that if Akhilesh Yadav
truly believes in Sanatan Dharma, he should support the construction of the
temple in Mathura.
Ramesh
Mishra alleged that the mosque in Mathura was built illegally and that
encroachment had taken place there. He said that the mosque should be removed
and a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna should be built there. According to the
MLA, the Mathura case is pending in court. Just as the court's decision came in
the Ayodhya case, a decision will come in the Mathura case as well, and a
Krishna temple will be built there. He also appealed to opposition parties for
cooperation on this issue. Reacting to Dhirendra Shastri's statement, the MLA
said that his words were being presented in a distorted manner. He said that
Dhirendra Shastri believes in all gods and goddesses. All gods and goddesses
are recognized in Sanatan Dharma.
