Guwahati, 07 November (HS): A man from Assam's Lakhimpur district has been arrested by police in Tamil Nadu for allegedly threatening to kill Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The arrested person has been identified as Jon Das, a resident of Bebejia village under Ghilmara area of Lakhimpur district. Police apprehended him in Tamil Nadu.
