Lucknow,
Nov 07 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's spiritual and
philosophical commitment to ancient Indian values emphasizes the symbolic
importance of lamps (diya) during festivals such as Deepotsav in Ayodhya.
Enlightenment
of Consciousness: The lamp is considered as more than simply a physical object
composed of clay and oil, but as a symbol of inner wisdom, intellect, and spiritual
enlightenment.
Effortlessness
of Light: Rather than expending energy battling bad forces (darkness), one
should concentrate on creating positivity, wisdom, and justice.
Inherent
Power of Truth: Just as a single lamp dispels rooms of darkness without
conflict, the presence of truth and knowledge naturally destroys ignorance and
negativity.
Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conveyed a message linking the monumental
festivities in Ayodhya with the essence of Sanatan Dharma, highlighting the involvement
of citizens throughout the country. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged the
public to synchronize their personal festivities with the important events of
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. He presents the lighting of lamps not just as a local ceremony,
but as a worldwide declaration of timeless truth, morality, and the triumph of
light over darkness. Devotees are encouraged to light up their homes,
doorsteps, and courtyards at the same time as the happenings in Ayodhya, forming
a unified national display of belief.
“A
lamp is not merely an earthen vessel; it is the awakening of consciousness. For
ages, it has taught us that we need not fight darkness—we need only light a
lamp, and darkness departs. The sacred festival of lights, celebrated in Shri
Ayodhya Dham, the foremost of the seven sacred cities, amid the joy and
jubilation of the arrival of Lord Shri Ram, the embodiment of righteousness,
makes this truth manifest. Today, with Mother Sarayu as our witness, we are all
set to celebrate the 10th Deepotsav in the city Lord Shri Ram holds dearer than
life itself.
Ayodhya’s
Deepotsav is a grand festival of the revival of our faith, self-respect, and
eternal consciousness. When lamps are lit at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, light lamps
in your own homes and courtyards too. Come, let us celebrate the proclamation
of eternal truth. Victory, victory to Lord Shri Ram!” remarked UP CM in a post
on X.
