New Delhi, 07 November (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta and Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, along with other party leaders, attended a Diwali havan and puja ceremony organised at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Delhi Pradesh office on Saturday. They offered prayers for the welfare of society and the nation, seeking the spread of the light of unity and harmony across society.

In a post on social media platform X, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said she had participated in the auspicious Diwali havan and puja at the BJP’s state office and performed the rituals in accordance with traditional customs. She said prayers were offered for the well-being of society as a whole and the prosperity of the nation. She also extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to all families in Delhi.

The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Shri Ram that the festival of lights would bring happiness, peace and harmony to every household and spread the light of unity throughout society. “Let us light lamps of happiness this Diwali, protect the environment and work together to build a clean, healthy and pollution-free Delhi,” he said.
