Guwahati, 07 November (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched a dedicated online portal to facilitate registration for people wishing to attend the grand closing ceremony of the birth centenary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.

The grand closing ceremony will be held on November 29 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The Chief Minister announced that interested people can register through the dedicated portal, sudhakantha.assam.statedatacenter.in, to participate in the historic occasion.

Upon successful registration, applicants will receive an e-invitation to attend the ceremony.

The initiative aims to facilitate public participation in the concluding ceremony of the year-long celebrations honouring the legendary singer, composer and cultural icon Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.---------
