Guwahati, 07 November (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday attended the Core Committee Meeting of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA), at Amingaon.

The meeting discussed various aspects of academic excellence, institutional development and the strengthening of legal education and judicial administration in the state.

The discussions reaffirmed the commitment to developing NLUJA as a centre of excellence in legal education and research. The focus was also on further strengthening the institution's academic standards and its role in promoting quality legal education in Assam.-------------
