JAMMU, 6 November (H.S.): Jammu and Kashmir BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma announced a series of mass outreach programmes across the Union Territory under the party's 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' campaign, including district-level padyatras, youth conferences and constituency-level meetings.

Chairing an organisational review meeting at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Sharma said the party had finalised an extensive programme to reach out to people across Jammu and Kashmir.

The planned activities include district-level padyatras, Yuva Sammelans, community outreach programmes and Assembly constituency-wise conferences involving prominent citizens.

Sharma criticised the Congress and its INDI Alliance partners, accusing them of attempting to create political instability, spread misinformation and undermine democratic institutions. He also alleged that the Opposition was misleading the public over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and using controversies for political purposes

The meeting also reviewed ongoing organisational programmes and activities being undertaken by party office-bearers, Morchas, departments and other organisational units.

The proceedings were conducted by Baldev Singh Billawaria, while Gopal Mahajan proposed the vote of thanks.
