Hooghly, 06 November (H.S.): Jangipara MLA Prosenjit Bag on Friday held a detailed discussion with the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Howrah Division regarding the overall development of railway connectivity in the area and the possibility of introducing a new railway line.

During the meeting, the MLA highlighted various long-standing demands and expectations of the people of Jangipara. Key issues discussed included improving railway connectivity, the possibility of laying a new railway line and upgrading passenger services.

Prosenjit Bag said that improving railway connectivity was essential to fulfil the long-standing expectations of the people of Jangipara. He added that if the proposal for a new railway line materialises, it could open up new opportunities for transportation in the region and make daily commuting easier for passengers.

The MLA expressed hope that the discussion with the DRM would lead to positive steps towards improving railway infrastructure and services in Jangipara in the coming days.

He also stated that his efforts to improve railway services and safeguard the interests of local residents would continue.
