Nashik, 06 Nov (HS): An

offence has been registered against former MP Imtiaz Jalil in TCS religious

conversion and sexual abuse case. He has been charged with providing shelter to

an accused Nida Khan.

Imtiaz Jalij’s name came to the fore during

inyterrogation of MIM Corporator Matin Patel and his telephone records. Police

have claimed that solid evidence against Imtiaz Jalil have been collected. He

was involved in proving shelter to the main accused Nida Khan. SIT

investigating the case has informed the court about Jalil’s involvement and he

will have to present himself in the court during hearing in the case.

Nida Khan was eluding arrest by about 40 days after

the exposure of the racket of religious conversion and sexual abuse in Nashik

Unit of TCS. She was in contact with her Aunty and through her Matin Patel.

Nida Khan was arrested from Naregaon area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
