Guwahati, 06 November (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday highlighted the state government's commitment to developing a comprehensive and patient-centric cancer care ecosystem across Assam.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said cancer care requires not only advanced medical facilities but also emotional support and holistic care for patients.

He emphasised the importance of an integrated approach to cancer treatment, focusing on medical infrastructure, compassionate patient support and overall well-being.
