(HS): Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Wednesday that the

financial support under the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Loan Waiver Scheme is

being disbursed to the farmers affected by the drought. The advance of 5,000

has been disbursed to about 73 lakh farmers. Disbursement of the loan waiver

amount will be started in the next two days.

Over 4.96

farmers will benefit from the scheme. Most of the farmers (About 2.76 lakh) are

from the Marathwada region.
