Guwahati, 3 November (HS): Ghanakanta Gogoi, the prime accused in the sensational shooting incident at Hotel Vilas Inn in Guwahati, will be produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court today following the completion of his seven-day police custody.

Gogoi will be produced before the court after the expiry of his police remand. He was arrested in connection with the shooting incident at Hotel Vilas Inn, which left five people dead and one critically injured.

The police are expected to seek further legal proceedings in the case as the investigation into the incident continues. The case had triggered widespread concern in Guwahati, with police constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the circumstances surrounding the shooting.-------------
