Pune, 03 Nov (HS): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra

Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar travelled

through the new route of Pune Metro after its inauguration by Prime Minister

Narendra Modi on Tuesday through virtual mode. The first ticket on the route

was purchased by Fadnavis personally. He discussed with girl students of

schools and IIT and got their views about travelling through Metro rail,

available facilities and their security. He travelled about six kilometres in

the train.

Metro Managing Director Shrawan Hardikar provided information and importance of

the stations on the route.

Mayor Manjusha Nagpure, Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Ravi Landge, PMRDA Commissioner

Abhijit Chaudhari and other senior officials accompanied Fadnavis. The Pink

Metro operation was handled by and lead train pilot was Pragati Biradar, Train

Pilot Aishvarya Suryapujari also played an important role.
