Mumbai, 03 Nov (HS):

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has constituted a four-member

committee to review the results of the recently concluded Legislative Council

elections. The committee has been formed as per the directions of MPCC

President Harshavardhan Sapkal.

Senir party leader Balasaheb Thorat, MP Chandrakant

Handore, Arif Nasim Khan and AICC Secretary B M Sandip will be the members of

the committee. The committee will examine the election process, campaign

strategy, reasons for victory or defeat and coordination within the party. The committee

will also suggest steps to make the campaigning more effective during the next

elections.

The report will be submitted within three months.
